Also, I drink Conflux #2, a superb collaboration by Deschutes Brewery and Boulevard Brewery, and Brian drinks just another brown ale.

Enjoy Episode 5!

The ToolBar, Episode 4 – (Why) Do the Tools Matter?

Logo for The ToolBarIn Episode 4 of The ToolBar, Brian Dusablon and I discuss why, how much, and whether your development tools matter, drawing from several E-Learning Guild pubs including their recent Top Tools report. And we get confused about how many kinds of Lawnmower Lager there are. All in an unprecedented 37 minutes, 33 seconds.

Drink up and enjoy.

The ToolBar, Episode 1 – A Zebra Sighting

Logo for The ToolBarI’m happy to report that the first episode of The ToolBar, a podcast project I’ve been working on with Brian Dusablon, is now live.

The ToolBar extends our conference experience of Learning Solutions 2011, and the concept is pretty simple: It’s us, talking about software – primarily elearning software – and drinking tasty beverages. We’re sparing you the karaoke.

In Episode 1, we talk about the upcoming ZebraZapps and drink Belgian beers.

The ToolBar is part of Emergent Radio, a larger project that Brian is starting. He’s curating conversations with some next-level thinkers, so whether or not The ToolBar is for you, stay tuned.
