Blogs I Read Every Day

Heart that looks like it was drawn in red crayonThe other day, Cammy Bean scooped a post that I was thinking about writing: a list of recommended blogs for IDs. I’m putting mine out there too, and I have lots of favorites, but these are the blogs that I read honest-to-goodness every single day… or at least every time I see a new post.

And, in the non-ID world, Daring Fireball.

There are lots of others too, but these are my go-tos. If you’re on the list but haven’t posted lately, you’re making me a sad panda. Write something already.

What are your favorites — or top recommendations — or blogs you read every day — or list of people you wish would blog more often? Share the love… leave a comment or better yet, write your own post and link it up below!

Update: If it weren’t so self-serving, I’d put my company’s blog, too. Oh, look. I did it anyway.

Using Lectora to Create iPad-Compatible Content – Results of Our Testing

So, I’m not putting anything new out there in the world today, but if you’ll forgive this cross-post, I want to point you to one other excellent resource that you may not have seen. Diane Elkins recently posted the results of our testing with Lectora (the most complete elearning authoring tool for HTML delivery) and iPad (the most popular tablet) on the E-Learning Uncovered blog.

While you may or may not be developing “courses” for mobile devices, you very well may still want to make sure your content is iPad-friendly. This post will bring you a couple of steps closer. It’s very much like we’re working, and then giving you stuff for free.

Enjoy!
